WILMINGTON, Del.<\/span>, Aug. 22, 2012<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0Interact-TV Incorporated (OTC: ITVI) is pleased to announce that is has appointed businessman and veteran corporate leader John E. McConnaughy Jr.<\/span> to its\u00a0 Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

Mr. McConnaughy founded JEMC Corporation as his personal holding company in 1985 and has been its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1988.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, from 1969 to February 1986<\/span>, Mr. McConnaughy was Chairman and CEO of Peabody International Corp., an environmental products and services firm. Mr.\u00a0McConnaughy was also the Chairman and CEO of GEO International Corp. when it was spun on from Peabody in 1981, until October of 1992. Prior to joining Peabody in 1969, Mr. McConnaughy served as Vice President of European Consumer Products with the Singer Company, responsible for operations in 16 countries.<\/p>\n

Mr. McConnaughy currently serves on the boards of Aina Le<\/span>‘a LLC, Anoteros, Inc., Wave Systems Corp., Arrow Resources Development Inc. and one private company, Kinetitec.<\/p>\n

Mr. McConnaughy has been a director of over 15 other public and private companies, including Oxygene, Inc.,\u00a0 Varsity Brands, Inc., Texstar Corporation, MAI Corporation, Pets Choice Ltd., Akzona Corp., First Bank Corp. (New Haven), Transact International, Inc., and RateXchange, who changed their name to MCF Corporation, Fortune Natural Resources Corporation, Allis Chalmers Energy Inc. and Levcor International Inc.<\/p>\n

Mr. McConnaughy also served as Chairman of the\u00a0 Board of Trustees of the Strang Cancer Prevention Center and he is Chairman of the Harlem School of the Arts. He is currently Chairman\u00a0 Emeritus of the latter.<\/p>\n

A graduate of Denison University<\/span> with a B.A. in Economics, Mr. McConnaughy earned his M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance at Harvard<\/span>‘s Graduate School of Business Administration.<\/p>\n
