Management considers that 2015 was a good year for Interact-TVs expansion as we laid down some very important infrastructure for future expansion activities.
ITVI Web TV Channels
ITVI commissioned FmCoCo, Inc. to get our internet TV channels up and running. Fmcoco Inc. successfully designed and hired programmers to develop our own low-maintenance-cost platform which will allow us to effectively compete with other providers in the internet TV arena.
Fmcoco Inc. also secured a library of over 10,000 public domain films that we will use for content to initially launch our channels. Eventually we will move into advertising and original content.
Out entire site is under construction and still in beta-test and marketing-test modes but we have a working model up and running at:
We kindly ask all of our shareholders and clients to check out our site and let us know any comments, problems or ideas you have. We are still in development mode and appreciate any ideas or observations about incompatible browsers etc. or how to improve the overall experience.
We have done some preliminary test advertising and have averaged around 19,000 unique visitors a month during our test marketing phase which started in July of 2015 and is still ongoing. Visitors staying on our website for more than 15 minutes rose from .8% in July at the beginning of the test marketing phase, to 1.4% for December 2015, to 1.7% for January of 2016.
Visitors staying on our website for more than 1 hour rose from .2% in July 2015 at the beginning of the test marketing phase, to .4% for December 2015, to .6% for January of 2016.
Cost for obtaining a visitor who stays 15 minutes or more on our website has gone from $0.19 each in July 2015 to $0.11 each in December 2015 to $0.09 each in January. This is encouraging as it means that advertising revenue of only $0.20 per each 15+ minute visitor’s visit would pay for all advertising costs and make a profit. (This does not include the cost of obtaining advertisers, of course, – which is yet to be determined.)
ITVI plans to increase advertising later in 2016 when our sites are fully developed.
Interact Radio and Pocket Kid Radio
Interact Radio and Pocket Kid Radio, internet radio sites, have similarly been developed by FmCoCo Inc. on a low-maintenance-cost platform. These sites are still under development and construction (website and look and feel) but the platform and content is there. These channels can be experienced at
Again we would appreciate any comments you may have and if you are a radio person or music buff and want to program one of our channels – let us know. We need excellent content. That goes for talk shows, documentaries, etc.
We have a huge catalog of multi-genre music available to us and we currently have plans to launch some 30 channels with 24/7 full time music. However getting our first nine stations stably up and running is our first goal,
Out test marketing of our radio stations also began in July of 2015 and resulted in our stations delivering 252 man hours of “listening” per day by the end of 2015. Advertising cost to develop one man hour of listening is $0.21 per man hour. Again this is encouraging as it means that advertising revenue of only $0.25 per man-hour of listening would pay for all advertising costs and make a slight profit. (This does not include the cost of obtaining advertisers, of course, – which is yet to be determined.)
Pocket Kid Records and Dead Sara
Pocket Kid Records released Dead Sara’s second album, Pleasure To Meet You, on March 31st of 2015. “Mona Lisa” from Dead Sara’ second album got included in Rock Band 4, and “Weatherman” their radio hit from the first album was included in the release of “Guitar Hero”.
Dead Sara is now working on their third album which will be a Pocket Kid Records Imprint released through Warner/Atlantic’s Elektra Label. Dead Sara finished off a “Pledge Music” album pre-release campaign in early 2015, did several headlining tours during the year as well as beginning work on their third album. Catch up on the Dead Sara news at http://pocketkidrecords.com/info/updates-and-news/ .
Blue Mask Records
ITVI formed a new label in 2015, which is our Pop music division. We signed Beck’s sister, Alyssa Suede’s act -Rome Will Burn – as our first act on the new label. Rome Will Burn also features DJ Manifesto as the second member of the group. Blue Mask Records released Rome Will Burn’s first EP on Oct 20, 2015. And will do more releases and begin touring in 2016. Find out more about Rome Will Burn and enjoy their music at http://bluemaskrecords.com/ and http://www.romewillburn.com/ .
Public-Access.Tv and PublicAccessRadio.org
As an offshoot of our TV and Radio platforms, ITVI intends to re-introduce and modernize the Public Access formats that were so popular in the 80s and 90s but are now on the wane. These websites and platforms are just offshoots of the platforms I have discussed above but will be fee driven websites aimed at growing our traffic to all our platforms. These new sites and platforms are also in their test marketing stage and you can see these platforms at:
New Distribution/Marketing/Publishing/Neighboring Right Services
During 2015, ITVI also entered into the music distribution arena to help new and old artists get their music distributed worldwide. In addition to distribution we provide full marketing and royalty collection services. You can get more info here: https://interact-tv-inc.com/info/about/music-division/
Acquisitions
Finally at the end of 2015, ITVI found itself in talks with three different entertainment sector companies regarding acquisition of their companies.
We are pursuing lots of opportunities to expand our entertainment presences through acquisition as well as internal development. Acquisition negotiations is a slow process and often results in “no-deal” after months of conversations and due-diligence. However, we are hopeful that our current negotiations will result in at least one new acquisition in the first half of the coming year.
In Summary
2015 was a strategic year for Interact-TV to lay down a foundation to expand its recording industry assets, as well as build an infrastructure to launch its presence in the internet radio and internet television arenas.
We look to 2016 to hopefully complete our core infrastructure with some acquisitions in the movie production arena as well as some key acquisitions of other entertainment products and services that align well with our overall direction.
We look to 2016 to be a year in which we will acquire key partners and personnel to expand marketing and delivery of our existing services and products.
